Serving a broad range of industries

Our patented ÖKOTHERM^® technology is also delivering benefits to a client in the aerospace sector. Particularly large components are heated, moulded and subsequently cooled under vacuum. A key factor here: our medium heating platens achieve a temperature accuracy of ±1 degree across the entire surface when using pressurised water temperature control. For this project, we used a vacuum table with a usable surface area of 7,250 × 1,600 mm.

We developed heating platens for a foaming system – notably over 8 metres in length. In principle, we offer flexible sizes in various segments, each including control units and temperature regulation devices.

In addition, we produced several special liquid-medium heating platens measuring 8,400 × 1,300 mm for a multi-level foaming press. These are used to manufacture sandwich elements with a polyurethane core for cold storage facilities and refrigerated trailers. Besides the length, it was particularly important to ensure excellent heat distribution, enabling consistent foaming temperatures and uniform expansion volumes across the entire surface.

We equipped the test and service centre of a leading manufacturer of solid surface materials with a vacuum table for sublimation printing. The vacuum worktables, which can both heat and cool, achieve temperatures of up to 200°C.
