Are your heating platens scratched or defective? Use our express repair service!
Drop them off in the morning, pick them up in the afternoon: by arrangement, you can bring in your heating platens in the morning and collect them fully repaired later the same day.
Service and repairs
To provide a truly comprehensive service, we also repair heating and cooling platens not manufactured by ELKOM. In addition to an initial assessment, we carry out a detailed inspection of the heating wire, check for leaks – particularly in systems using oil or water – and address any mechanical damage or surface scratches.
The heating and cooling platens are removed and sent to us. Before any work begins, we will provide a detailed cost estimate and discuss everything with you.
During refurbishment, we plane-mill the surfaces, replace the heating elements, renew the cover sheets and replace the heating and cooling circuits – but only if necessary.
